Building a business with a friend

Me and Anita have been friends since our children went to nursery together more than a decade ago. We always talked about the effects harsh chemicals in cleaning products have on our health, and we specifically noticed the effect on our children, such as childhood asthma, regular headaches and outbreaks of
eczema.

Together, we came up with the idea of producing natural, safe and effective cleaning products, which were free from toxic chemicals that damage our health. 

We also wanted our products to look gorgeous too, in stylish amber glass bottles that should be left out on the counter - not hidden away under the kitchen sink! 

We wanted to make refilling at home easy and convenient, so we produced 1L refill pouches and 3L refill boxes that can be neatly stored away, saving you time and money. 

We realised that so many products we used as a family, every day contained chemicals, and we set to work developing natural toiletries that nourish and condition skin and hair. Our range now includes Hand Wash, Body Wash, Shampoo and Conditioner, plus much more!

We're so proud of MadeKind, and particularly love hearing from our customers about their favourite products. Our online reviews consistently get five star ratings, and we are always touched by the kind words people write. 

Personally, my favourite products is the hand wash as it is so moisturising and the scents are wonderful, and linger on the skin long after washing. Anita is a huge fan of the Bathroom Cleaner, and actually thinks it's magic as it's so good at fighting limescale!

Being able to build a business with a friend is something we both feel very grateful for. It's hard work, and not very glamorous (you will often find us in the unit moving huge containers!) but we're passionate about MadeKind and love meeting some great people along the way.
